New to the Dallas Arboretum is the Nancy Rutchik Red Maple Rill. The Red Maple Rill has an amazing gathering area, a stone bridge, and a beautiful creek. The creek’s waterfalls are magnificent and peaceful. In its gardens are 200 Japanese Maples that give Red Maple Rill its charm. The Dallas Arboretum is also home to amazing outdoor concerts that overlook the White Rock Lake. Tickets are only $9 a piece for a night of nature and music. Concerts are held on Thursday nights until October 27^th. Some upcoming concerts are 4 Way Street, Sign, Sealed, Delivered, and Micky and the Motorcars. The music stylings range from Texas country to dance music.

Autumn at the Arboretum is particularly spectacular! There are over 150,000 fall flowers decorating the grounds and over 50,000 pumpkins, squash, and gourds! Autumn at the Arboretum is right out of a fairy tale with all it has to offer. Right out of Cinderella to be exact. Visit Cinderella’s Pumpkin Village made out of 1,200 pumpkins and gourds or have your photo taken in Cinderella’s carriage. It also has a hay bale maze for the kids to play in, a pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin, and a Great Pumpkin Search that teaches children about the different types of pumpkins at the Arboretum. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Arboretum has a petting zoo, face painting, story time, and more! Autumn at the Arboretum will delighting its guests through November 23^rd.
